Oasisy Wedding

I was looking through some photos, and came across my wedding! I know what does that have to go with Oasis ? Well were talking about me here! I married the biggest Oasis fan I could, we were brought together by A LOT of Oasis kismet! So it was only fitting our wedding had a bunch of Oasis touches. Here is a peak of what we did, feel free to use the ideas for your own special days!


1. Instead of numbers we named all the tables after our favorite Oasis songs! It was hilarious watching the guests search for Oasis song tables!

2. At our cocktail hour we had a pianist play Oasis songs on the piano, it was very classy, yet very US.

3. We had a signature drink we called a "Champagne Supernova" , it was champagne with blueberries in it!

4. We gave out CDs has favors. The track listing started out with "our song" Songbird and ended with the Songbird demo.

5. Our transportation to the reception was a white 1967 Rolls Royce, similar to the one on the cover of Be Here Now.

6. The inside of the our wedding rings read "No one can take us" (my husband) and "No can Break us" (mine).

7. One of our wedding songs was "Songbird".

It was quite a day. Funny part is that in the church during the cermony the pastor actually mentioned Oasis! It was crazy !
